NaBIAIM: ISHOIEU 1:1–27
MaSHICH-anic: Mark 14:1–16

Portion Outline
MaSHE struck the rock for water and didn't call on HaSHAM and was not permitted to enter the Promised Land.

Spies entered Canaan via Rahab's Scarlet Thread.
The People grumbled and then IEUE marched for forty years so that they would not enter the promised land.

Canaan inherited a Moon Cult; Solomon built altars to Molech, too.

Hos 4:12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.

Bar 38:28 And it came to pass, when she <Tamar> travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.
Bar 38:29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.
Bar 38:30 And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.

Ieu 2:18 Behold, when we come into the land, thou <Rahab> shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.

Son 4:3 Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks

The Scarlet Thread of Communion is given at Pesach.
From First Adam to Second Adam IEUE kept HIS Promises.

Parashat Matot-Masei

Parashat Matot-Masei

Matot/Massei | מטות/מסעי | "Tribes/Journeys "

TURE: BaMaDaBaR 30:2-36:13
NaBIAIM: IRaMIEU 1:1-2:3
MaSHICH-anic: MaTaTIEU 23:1-39/MaTaTIEU 24:1-25:46

Portion Outline
Matot-Masei (BaMaDaBaR 30:2-36:13)

Parashat Matot-Masei is read on Shabbat: Av 2, 5772/July 21, 2012

*Matot, מַּטּוֹת Tribes 30:2-32:42

The name of the forty-second reading from the TURE is Mattot (מַּטּוֹת), which means “tribes.” The name is derived from the words of BaMaDaBaR 30:1, which says, “Then MaSHE spoke to the heads of the tribes of the sons of Ishrael.” BaMaDaBaR 30 discusses the laws of vows and oaths. BaMaDaBaR 31 tells the story of Ishrael’s war with Midian. BaMaDaBaR 32 relates the story of how the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Mannaseh came to inherit the land east of the Jordan River. Except in biblical calendar leap years, Mattot is read together with the subsequent TURE portion, Massei, on the same Sabbath.

Massei מַסְעֵי Journeys of 33:1-36:13

The last reading from the book of BaMaDaBaR is called Massei (מַסְעֵי), a word that means “journeys.” It comes from the first verse of the reading, which begins with the words “These are the journeys of the sons of Ishrael” (BaMaDaBaR 33:1). Massei is the end of the continuous narrative of TURE that began in BaRaASHIT with the creation of the universe. The narrative does not resume until the end of DaBaRIM when MaSHE dies.
The final reading in BaMaDaBaR settles several last-minute details. In it we find a list of the encampments from Egypt to the plains of Moab. We also find instructions for apportioning the land, as well as the specifics regarding the borders of the land. While explaining the land and its borders, MaSHE introduces the laws of the cities of refuge and more inheritance laws. In most years, synagogues read Massei together with the preceding portion, Mattot, which accounts for the brevity of this portion’s commentary. Baal Imagery

Ira 1:11 Moreover the word of the Almighty came unto me, saying, Iraemiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
Ira 1:12 Then said the Almighty unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
Ira 1:13 And the word of the Almighty came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.

Ich/Eze 22:26  Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

Ich 36:16 Moreover the word of the Almighty came unto me, saying,
Ich 36:17 Son of man, when the house of Ishrael dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
Ich 36:18 Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:
Ich 36:19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
Ich 36:20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the Almighty, and are gone forth out of his land.
Ich 36:21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Ishrael had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.
Ich 36:22 Therefore say unto the house of Ishrael, Thus saith the Almighty IEUE; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Ishrael, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
Ich 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Almighty, saith the Almighty IEUE, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
Ich 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
Ich 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Ich 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Ich 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Ich 36:28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your G-d.
Ich. 44:23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean

Qel 12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Qel 12:2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:
Qel 12:3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,
Qel 12:4 And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;
Qel 12:5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:
Qel 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Qel 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto G-d who gave it.
Qel 12:8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.
Qel 12:9 And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
Qel 12:10 The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
Qel 12:11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
Qel 12:12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
Qel 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear G-d, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Qel 12:14 For G-d shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

    MaSHICH-anic: Mark 11:27-12:37

Joh 15:1  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Eze 15:2  Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?

Isa 4:2  In that day shall the branch of the ALEIM be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

Pro 11:28  He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

Jer 23:5  Behold, the days come, saith the ALmighty IEUE, that I will raise unto DUID a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

Dan 11:7  But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:
Dan 11:8  And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

Zec 3:8  Hear now, O EUSHO the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

Zec 6:12  And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the ALmighty IEUE of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the ALmighty IEUE:

Zec 6:13  Even he shall build the temple of the ALmighty IEUE; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Mar 13:28  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
Mar 13:29  So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
Mar 13:30  Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
Mar 13:31  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Mar 13:32  But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Mar 13:33  Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Mar 13:34  For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Mar 13:35  Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Mar 13:36  Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
Mar 13:37  And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

TURE Portion Balak

TURE Portion

Balak | בלק | "Balak " (destroyer)
TURE-Torah: BaMaDaBaR Numbers 22:2-25:9
NaBIAIM-Prophets: MIKIEU  Micah 5:6-6:8
MaSHICH-anic-Gospel: Mark 11:12-26

When seeking direction in life, a person needs to keep an eye on the donkey to see what IEUE might be saying.

MaLaKIM BaT (2Ki) 19:31-34

And the remnant that is escaped of the house of IEUDES (Judah) shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

For out of IRUSHALIM (Jerusalem) shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the Almighty IEUE of hosts shall do this.

Therefore thus saith the Almighty IEUE concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it.

By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the Almighty IEUE .

For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant DUID's sake.

IEUCHaNaN (Joh) 15:1-17

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

These things I command you, that ye love one another.
